Junior Section
Old College has a thriving junior section and details regarding our charter and facilities are available for download here:

FREE Club play sessions for all Mini Tennis and Junior MEMBERS.
We would like to invite you to our NEW complementary supervised club sessions that will be running during term time this summer.
Friday evenings:
4.15-5.30pm from 30th April till 15th October
Saturday mornings:
9-10.30 from 24th April – 3rd July.
No need to book, just turn up and enjoy your tennis. We look forward to seeing you there!

Mini & Junior Membership Information:
Attention all Mini Orange and Green non-members Please note to participate in any coaching at the Old College LTC this year you have 2 options;
Option 1
Pay the annual non-membership fee of £45. This fee is payable just once a year at the start of the summer coaching term, it is non-refundable and will allow your children to enjoy term-time group coaching and tennis holiday camps at members price at the Old College until 31 March 2011.
Please note this fee covers wear and tear of the club facilities as well as administration.
Option 2
For the same price of £45, your child could join the Club and enjoy the benefits of membership, details of which are available on the website.

Mini tennis red level - no membership available
Available for children from 3-8 years old. Initial enquiries should be made to the Head Coach.

Mini tennis (orange and green level) Membership
Available for children from 8-10/11 years old playing at mini-tennis orange or green level. Initial enquiries should be made to the Membership Secretary or Head Coach. Application forms can be found in the Club house or on the website. Members may join at any time during the year.

Junior Membership
Open to those aged from 8-18 years playing junior level tennis. Initial enquiries should be made to the Membership Secretary or Head Coach. Application forms can be found in the Club house or on the website. Members may join at any time during the year; subscription reductions apply for those joining after 1 September.

Juniors at adult Advanced/Intermediate playing standard
Juniors can be played up to and then granted an adult 'Intermediate' or 'Advanced' standard by Jon Modica. This then qualifies them to take part in adult events, use floodlights and book any of the courts. Floodlight tokens cost £4.00 for 1hr 15 min play. There is no floodlit play on Sunday or after 9pm on other days.

Holiday Coaching Camps
Tennis Camps for all mini tennis and junior levels will be run during part of the Easter and summer holidays and some half terms. Details are e-mailed by Jon Modica prior to each holiday.

Visitors
You are welcome to bring non-members to play for a visitor's fee of £1 per junior, no more than five visits per year per guest. Please enter your name and the visitor's name in the book which is kept by the pay-phone. EITHER pay a committee member - (please ensure that they sign the book to confirm that you have done so). OR, pay when you renew your sub.

Junior Club Tournament
Open to mini tennis and junior members only. This involves having your name entered in a knockout or round robin draw to play against other members.

Note: Junior members who have been played up to adult Intermediate or Advanced standard (see J. Modica) can enter the Club Main Open Tournament for adults organized byJenny Ritchie.

Finals Day (Seniors, Juniors & Mini tennis)
Saturday 10th July. Come, participate & watch the Club finals for the adults, juniors and mini-tennis players.

The Ropey Ladder
Junior members are welcome to play in the Old College singles ladder - see (www.ropeyladder.com)

Booking Courts
Juniors can book hourly sessions on Court 7 Saturday p.m. and Courts 6 or 7 on Sundays. To book use the on-line booking system from home or utilise the booking screen in the clubhouse. To ensure you get some play, it is better to try and book the court in advance or at least use the system to see if a court is free. There is no charge for booking or playing on these courts

Clubhouse
Modern clubhouse - WC, showers, and kitchen A pay phone is available for players to use. Tel: 020 8693 3511. Note, this phone is left unattended and messages are not collected. A bar selling soft drinks and small snacks is open on some occasions.

CAR PARKING:
Please park in the designated bays outside the Club within the dotted lines, or on the Club side of the road. Otherwise, please note that YOU MUST NOT AT ANY TIME PARK WITH YOUR CAR WHEELS ON THE ROUNDED KERB - this is an offence day or night and Wardens pass the Club regularly
